When I took some time off university to work full-time in 2017, in a dark, beaten-down place in life, the only thing really keeping me going was taking refuge at this one beautiful café I had heard about and being able to draw there. I was surrounded by fantastic pieces of art as I drew, and always hoped one day my work would be hung up in this place that I soon considered my second home. Some time went on, I finally went back to finish school, did some art shows, along with a lot of other exciting things I could have never imagined when I first started doodling on my iPad, but nothing made me happier than finally being able to hang my art in this place I hold so dear, even more so that it was artwork depicting 4 of my biggest personal artistic inspirations. The Art House Café in Centretown, Ottawa has been where I’ve drawn at least half of all of the art you see on BOYSDONTDRAW since early 2018.
